Help! I don't know how to post photos with my classified ad!

When taking digital photos of your item, remember to use your camera's email or VGA setting. This will automatically size your photos so they aren't too big for uploading to your classified ad.

If you have already taken photos, and they are large, you may need to resize your photos before submitting them to our website (or any others, as well). You can use a free service, such as Pic Resize, to resize your photos. Photos that are below 800K in file size and 1600 pixels high or wide can be uploaded to your classified ad. If your images are larger than that, your ad will not process.

Your photos may be automatically resized to fit your ad. When you upload photos, they will be checked to see if they are the right size, and if not, will be reduced to the right size. Thumbnail images to go with your ad will also be automatically created. All images larger than 200K (but smaller than 800K) and larger than 1000 pixels wide or high (but not more than 1600 pixels wide or high) will be resized by the program.

Place your ad, but before clicking SUBMIT, you can click on "browse" buttons to the right of each photo number. Then, locate the photo on your computer. Once selected, move on to the next photo; you may submit up to nine color images. Thumbnail and preview images are automatically created for you, so don't worry about that part!

Once all your photos are selected, click on the SUBMIT button. It may take several seconds, depending on the speed of your internet connection, to be carried to the next screen; your photos are uploading. You're done! The rest is up to us.
